I meant to say that it probably should be at least a good deal of time longer than 6 months, because in the DSM IV, anything up to 6 months is a red flag for poor judgment, in a clinical sense. |

Well im moving to Dans this year, by that time we will have been together for 2 n half yrs, and i think thats a nice amount of time :)

How long after you begin a relationship, is a fair amount of time, before you live together?
Living together is not a good idea, as you'll be facing some legal hurdles at some point. Some states have a "common-law marriage" act en-force, by where you're technically "married" after being together after a certain number of years (typically a decade in some states), which means you can be held liable for things like alimony and other things should you break up at some point. |
