So I like to think I'm an author...
I wrote this awesome story (in my opinion) about a single parent. However I do not have any children. Its about a man and his son. As a parent how would you take reading a story about a single dad written by someone who does not know the ropes? |

I am a single parent not by choice (widow). If you were raised by a single parent then you would know something about it. Other than that I would read it just to see if you an any real insight into what it takes raising a child or children. We all have experiences and know a little something about most everything. I am sure you have friends that are single parents and have seen and/or heard them with their children. JMO

I am a single dad with no help from the mother of my son. She is addicted to drugs and all and lives several states away. My son is now 4 years old and pretty much a hand full. As a single dad I can tell you that focusing on a single father is a pretty big deal. You never hear anything about single fathers unless something tragic happened to the mother.
