ok.. this is embarrassing!
Just got myself an IPod/MP3 player.. with no instructions! Now.. my computer has a full ITunes library (thanks to my daughter).. I research online "How to load music from computer onto player" I plug in the IPod.. and onthe screen I get a picture of a computer screen & a tower with a cord. That's it! Now what??? I've hit every button.. HELP!!!!!!!!! |

Once you have it plugged in you need to load up itunes on your computer. It should ask you if you want to sync with the IPOD the first time. If you want to change the settings after the initial sync click on your ipod on the left pane inside itunes. On the right you should see multiple tabs for different file types where you can choose what is synced.

The screen is literally: white back ground picture of a computer monitor, tower, cord that's it! I've tried turning it on & off... unplugging.. etc. When I unplug.. THEN I get the entire menu screen.. and can do stuff.. When I hit the "Music" option.. it tells me it's empty (duh! I know! that's why I am trying to load music!) |

Sunshine, I'd try dragging one music file from the music library to your ipod (trial and error) as I am not a fan of Apple, I have an old MP3 player. |

You need to open the application, not the folder. Should be an icon on your desktop, if it isnt there it should be in start->programs->itunes->itunes
Don't stress it |

You need to open the application, not the folder. Should be an icon on your desktop, if it isnt there it should be in start->programs->itunes->itunes Don't stress it Did that .. and there are over 1900 songs in there. Now.. this is not an Apple model. It has no brand name on it, but it looks like the nano. It is 8 GB I have the ITunes open.. the ipod plugged in.. but nothing on either screen (computer or the ipod) give me any options about loading |

Ok... try this. Load windows media player. Search for the sync option, if you have the newest version it should be a tab in the top right. If you choose that tab and it is compatible you should see your device in the window. Another option is to try what Franshade suggested, since its not an IPOD it might work. |

you can also google the name and brand of the ipod you have - and look up the instructions.
I have a plug and play MP3 player. I make a random folder on desktop, drag all music onto that folder that I want on my MP3 player (I change music frequently). I open my MP3 player (start/explore/correct drive) open folder on desktop that I have dragged music onto select all and drag onto MP3 all done I then delete the folder on desktop. |
