Topic: Embarrass a cop lately? | |
---|---|
Tonight I was heading home from Mom and Dad's and I was sitting at a light not to far from my house. A car was coming at me in the opposite direction with no lights on, so I flashed my lights on and off to let them know. (Around here, people do that to let other drivers know a cop is ahead....)
Well, it turns out it WAS a cop...and he didn't realize his lights weren't on until he went to the next light and made a u-turn to come after me. He drove up next to me looking all embarrassed and like ......and he did that too!! Should I have pulled him over and asked for his license and registration??? |

I've given a cop a ticket before. I'm pretty sure it was round filed pretty quick, but it was fun.

I did embarrass a cop this week.
I went into a small store. I parked my car next to a van that had a baby in it. The baby was crying loudly. I looked in. The windows were open and nobody was in the van. I went into the store and told the cashier that there's a baby alone in a van out there and it's crying. The man ahead of me glanced at me and said that it was his. He looked down. I looked at him and said, "That's just wrong." He flew out of there. The cashier told me that he was a police officer that comes in regularly. |

Yep, cops are people, too. I work with them every day and it has sure helped me to see that they are human, too.
As far as embarassing them...yep, every chance I get and they reciprocate. LOL |

Winx, at least you yelled at him for a good reason. I would have too for that.

Ever try to perform a citizens arrest on a cop? Quick way to either embarass them or enrage them, even better when you have your attorney on the phone.
Take orders from no one, question everything. |

Winx, at least you yelled at him for a good reason. I would have too for that. I didn't know he was a police officer. That made me more brave. I didn't yell but I got my point across. That is so dangerous for the baby. Ohhh..if his wife knew what he did!!! |

a baby was thrown out of a car onto the 275 expressway here in tampa today. the police officers that were picking up the pieces were crying as they were doing it.
don't ever intentionally embarrass a human with a job as horrifying as theirs is. |

Not many cops have that horrifying of a job...that and they don't seem to have a problem embarrassing everyday citizens, why should they be handed the "special treatment" tissue? |

When it is something like that I NEVER would!! But embarrassing them over something we all have done, when he thought I was trying to let other cars know he was in the area, is a totally different story!!!! |

I don't believe it. Question authority, question everything, don't be pushed around. Check out 4409 on Youtube, there are plenty of videos of cops pushing normal law-abiding citizens around on a daily basis. Stand up, question, don't lie down. |
