We can be bad. I turned into a total bltch last Sunday at noon; I got a new a driver, to give the poor SOB who'd spent most of the day with me a break. Hi, Bob! THIS IS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL CATTYNESS....SOOOOOOO NOT ANY ROOM FOR IT IN MY LIFE ANYMORE, IF EVER. YOURS IS PROBABLY, AND HOPEFULLY ALOT DIFFERENT. ITS JUST UNCALLED FOR BS. Mine was caused by a staff Sgt. who demanded that we make the piles of sandbags NEATER. mind you, they'd come in on a flat bed truck. We had to unload the pallets, tie the sandbags, fling the sandbags, load the sandbags and then I'd drive and dump the sandbags. There were no points for neatness, just speed! |

So is the gosh darn flooding over up there or not Mari ? Kindred, ND, is a tiny island in the 6th Great Lake. The Sheyenne River spread, so even folks who were high and dry in 1997 were sandbagging. We left because there was nothing more we could do; and being from out-of0-state, they wanted us gone ($$) as soon as possible. I doubt the farmers will recover this year. sugar prices will go way up. I think. |
