yeah but our team is completely different the d-fense alone will crush. matthews,barnett,kampman,hawk as a 4-some..thats going to be hard to beat. and the safties will be healthy and for another couple years we still got two of the best corners around. not THE best but they are up there for sure. and no one can truthfully say they are not.

Ive been a 49ers fan ever since the departure of joe cool (steve young greatest all around qb in recent memory, highest rated qb all time,96.8, most rushing td by qb with 43, he also has the most td passes in a superbowl game with 6 and no ints) , this year with mike singletary going into his first year as the starting head coach, youve got the best middle lb in pat willis the man is only in his 3rd year, frank gore is a top 5 running back, they just picked up dre bly to play opposite of nate clements, a 4th year lolb in manny lawson who is improving and will have his first healthy year(runs a 4.4 40yd, same as steve young in his day ) he is listed at 6"5 240, they get a steal in michael crabtree with the 10th pick in the draft. Probably gonna at least make the playoffs, the main question being who is the quarterback, Im hoping alex smith has finally matured and is ready although you gotta love shaun hill's heart, while the d- line is not a huge concern when you run a 3-4 it hurts not having a single standout on the d-line, should be an exciting season with a great hof player like mike singletary as head coach. He mooned his team in the locker room, treated vernon davis like he was a kid that grew up free and spoiled, and yelled at the press, "we are not a charity,we do not give games away, first thing we do is we go out there and hit people in the mouth"

oh yeah and too the op, man kills me about brian dawkins, reminds of the way they did with jerry rice or john lynch with tampa. Always admired donvan mcnabbs scramble ability, still does it after all those injuries. They get jerry maclin from missouri, keep wideouts desean jackson and kevin curtis. With westbrook coming out of that backfield im thinking this will be donovan mcnabbs career year. Id be lying if I said the brian dawkin release did not kill me, he has always been the heart of the defense and it seems they always had issues with given what I th think is the greatest run stopping lb in the last ten years in jerimiah trotter his due money, i dont get that at all. They also let tre thomas and lj smith get away , none the less it should be another playoff push, and with andy reid and donovan still togeather they will still be in the hunt for their first, elusive, ring. Hope the do well man they roughed up the niners 40-26 last year


Green Bay looks strong farmboy, I agree with the defense, gotta be the scariest looking defenses in the nfc, they are loaded. I thought they were set when they drafted nick barnett, then they got aj hawk and charles woodson oppisite al harris, kampman has turned into a top 3 if not 5 de in the game. It was a while ago but I miss gilbert brown, he was a great dt. Whats even crazier is as good as the d is, the offense is probably better. With a ridicoulous 1-2-3-4 like aaron rodgers, gregg jennings, ryan grant, donald driver its just a matter of time before their challenging for the nfc championship.

For college football, my team ever since Ive watched when I was around 10, The Florida Gators. Have alot of family in florida, big fred taylor fan, also lito shepard, jabar gaffney, chris leak one of my faviorate college qbs ever, and the great freak jevon kearse. This year out of all the years I have watched them looks to be easy if every one stays healthy and hungry. Tim tebow, never seen that type of heart from the qb position, closest was my idol growing up the late great steve mcnair. Id have to say on defense he is equaled twice by seniors, mlb brandon spikes, and the wr decapating fs major right. Then at end they have the best end in the country in carlos dunlap(6"6 290) about as fast as most linebackers, then the sophmore phenom who is probably the most talented player on the roster and argubly the fastest player in the country in rb jeffery demps. Easily the most complete team I have seen the gators have ever. Just In case its not known to you tebow fact, more college rushing tds than emitt smith or hershel walker. Tim tebow career stats
