i have a pdf file i want to read on my cell phone anyone have any ideas how to accomplish this besides just taking pictures of the pages of the file?

I'm not aware of any apps that will do that. You CAN copy PDFs to your PDA like a Palm or IPAQ, as there are several apps that will do such a thing. But a cell-phone? Unless you got a Crack-berry or something else that's able to show stuff in a non cell-phone kind of way, I would think you're kind of up the creek.

Well... check with your cell phone manufacturer. They might have an app that will convert your PDFs to something your cell phone will read, which will more-than-likely be a proprietary kind of text-like file.
