I can understand why they say emo since your hair style....But its not a big deal.

yeah i can see how they think that. my hair hates me. and does that when it's hot/humid. which makes me even hotter. very irritating. i was hoping that the subtle make up kinda balanced that out.

Nah...if you were a dude with that hair cut then I'd call you a scene kid or whatever they call it.
I'm sure the people calling you those names dont even know the full definition of what they are calling you. Looks fine to me. And as long as you like it, thats all that really matters right? |

Emo - those depressed, suicidal kids that dress in all black trenchcoats and chains, dye their hair purple, powder their faces white, wear black lipstick, and paint their fingernails black
Trendy/Scene kids - harder to define. slightly cooler than emo, which doesn't say much. The kids who shop at Abercrombie & Fitch. Have access to mommy and daddy's checkbook. and try to be in whatever scene and style the media makes out to be 'cool' |
