FYI Connie, Levon Helm is from the south and the Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is lamenting the disappearance of antebellum south.

Country Joe McDonald - FISH Cheer/Feel-Like-I'm-Fixing-To-Die-Rag
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwwEHJ0K_yw I saw Country Joe play once. It was at some outdoor concert, one of those all-weekend things. He was on the bill, but he hadn't shown up yet, so everybody is looking around, waiting for a bus or a limo or something....and here comes this guy walking right out of the woods, with an accoustic guitar over his shoulder! Not even a VAN, for Christ's sake! We were all standing there with our jaws hanging on the ground, like, "WTF is THIS about!?" It was Joe McDonald. He just smiled and waved to a few folks, went up on stage, walked over to a live microphone, and started playing! He did a fun show, played for about an hour or so, said, "Thanks! 'Bye!", stepped offstage, and walked right back into the woods again! Weirdest thing I ever saw in my life! Never saw anything like it before or since! |

Ruby - First Edition (Poor quality audio, but it is the only First Edition version I could find. The rest are Kenny Rogers by himself)
