Topic: The 60's and only the 60's | |

It is my humble opinion that the 60's pop and rock was overall the most creative and best the world has ever known. It started out slow since Little Richard became a preacher, Buddy Holly met his maker, Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old cousin, Chuck Berry had his troubles, and Elvis joined the Army.
However, once Dylan and the Beatles hit it big there was an amazing amount of creativity that produced some of the best songs we will ever hear... Bob Dylan-Blowing In The Wind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ced8o50G9kg |

The Byrds-Bells of Rhymney
George Harrison stole the riff from this song for "If I Needed Someone." He actually called McGuinn beforehand and asked him if it was okay... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQaBGSxvNrI |
