reading at that time of the day on weekdays...is usually a great pasttime. However if you arent the reading type...TV or Movies usually work. Now Weekends thats a different story entirely!

My bigger concern is the number of things I didn't get to do or finish before I die ... Find a topic of interest and study it... it can be anything ... Find creative ways of expression that speak to you- write, or make some art, or cut pictures out of magazines and create a vision board... or take up needlepoint ... whatever speaks to you. I have songs rolling around in my head all the time but don't play any instruments - yet ... but I got some software that I can use to get these things out of my head ... eventually when I get some time. Take a class... I've just started latin dancing ... but it could be cooking, or stained glass or pottery or drawing ... Meditate ... go for a walk ... clean out a closet ... Learn another language - I've been listening to Michel Thomas' Spanish CDs - the style is conversational and easier for me to retain that the traditional methods of endless verb conjugation exercises... Take a tour of an art gallery - that can be done online these days too... Try a new recipe or better yet, make one up! Put on some music and dance in your livingroom. There are wonderful self development programs on CD and print. If you don't know what you would like to try - which is where I was when my marriage ended -- write down a bunch of things to try on separate pieces of paper - some you are familiar with but some you've never done - place them in a jar, shake them up and draw one out ... AND DO IT!!!!! Write down a wide variety of things - from a pedicure or a home spa evening to initiating a conversation with a stranger or re-arranging your livingroom or redecorating your bedroom or or or .... you get the idea... If you are bored, it is time to grow into a bigger, grander, magnificent version of yourself!!!!! Fly lady fly!!! Surround yourself with things and experiences that feed your soul and avoid at all cost those things that weaken you!
