So I get this nudge from some guy I don't know and I am feeling flirty so I nudge him back.

He sends me a message asking me to call him on the phone and gives me his cell phone number. He wants to talk cell phone to cell phone.

First of all I don't have a cell phone, and second, I don't like talking on the phone, and third I don't know why I would want to talk to a complete stranger on the phone whom I don't know, or have never talked to email or on the forums.

The only thing I can imagine is that he is tired of paying for those pay by the minute numbers where people have phone sex and who knows what all and he is looking for a cheap phone date.

No thanks. eeeewwww.sick

approach every situation with caution, but you can get a better feel for a person on the phone than on here. but if no prior contact till the number,, i would leave it alone

When a guy gives me his phone number right off the bat I ignore him. If a guy asks me for my number I politely tell him I don't give out my number until he's taken the time to get to know me better thru email. If he doesn't want to do that then he wasn't worth my time to begin with.shades

Probably a scammer. I heard there is something going on where they get paid by how many cell numbers they collect.

I've never heard of that. I figured he wanted to keep it cell to cell so his wife couldn't trace the calls. LOL

I dunno. "Phone" and "sex" seem like mutually exclusive terms to me. I mean unless you're REALLY freaky, or have a really cute phone.

Yeah, and who would ever want the phone near their face again after that? Yuck.

I was in a chat room one time and some guy "whispered" to me that we should "cyber". My "no" response was out where everyone could see that I wasn't interested in going to a private chat room. It may have been a bit rude, but that way the other women would get a heads up, and anyone else who was there for the cybersex wouldn't bother me.

I guess it depends on how you feel through email. I'm not online consistently to do much more then zap out short emails. If the person comes across as sane, then I'll toss em my phone number. I prfer text, do to the fact that it's easier when I'm busy with the animals, or working, but talking with someone isn't gonna kill me.

And if they want phone sex that bad, I put my phone next to the parrots cage and let her SCREAM!!! Never get bothered again. It works great on nasty telemarketers, too.

Phone and cyber sex are just retarded. You can be doing a hundred different things, and say "oh baby", and it makes the weird ones happy. Rolls eyes. No thanks!

Personally I find talking with someone on the phone is better then just typing here . Written words are so often taken the wrong way. You read what you "think" they said or how you "Think" they meant it. with out the voice and senseing their voice inflections/ tone of.. etc. Person to person is even better. . And I would rather meet face to face even more so. I do not care if it is someone I just met off the internet. You can always meet in a safe and public place . or with a phone call. just hang up if it gets to "personal? caller Id you say? well you can block your number its called precautions. BUT if you don't take a chance, then your doomed to be here forever. Then question #6 does become an option rofl rofl rofl
