ive never even once had any of those common dreams.

mine are very vivid and very very strange at some times.

I have a recurring drem that I am asleep and someone has broken into my home. I slip quietly to the closet and get my gun, but can't pull the trigger, it is too heavy. Not enough strength to pull it.

Having been a police officer and trained to use a weapon, I can't figure out why it is such an issue for me, even though I am no longer a policeman.

Well, firstly, the reason u cannot pull the trigger is cos u r not in ur physical body, u r in a dream, ur body is asleep and therefore is paralysed

Maybe its just reflecting the fact that u arent an officer anymore and dont have that kind of power anymore. Do u feel unsafe at all since u left the police?

Yes, 2 words. Nasty Divorce.

Its not about better dreams, its about understanding ur own.

Ive never dreamed of being naked, or of falling in love etc. Im a lucid dreamer, and remember them, it means i can understand them better cos i remember them so vividly.

i heard that in a dream you play every role of every character involved. and should ask what you may be trying to tell yourself through your dreams.

interesting interpretation.

I have - it seems like the more I have and the more time that passes, the dreams have slowed down. I was thinking the same thing, thank you.

I usually only remember bits and pieces of my dreams. I have a lot where someone will say my name and then I wake up abruptly.

The other night I had one where I went to my front door and there stood a man I have never met before. I can still picture him quite vividly. Nothing else happened, I woke up after that.

How did u feel about the man?

Perhaps opening the door is symbolic to opening ur mind?

I wasn't particularly threatened by him...he just stood there with a smile and his hands in his pockets.
