Hubby is coming home today......more work for me but so so so worth it to have him home in the comfy bed and just for all of us....the girls missed him and I did.......

have broken my leg 2 different times in 2 different places.my shoulders been knocked out of place 5 times.my wrist has been broken 4 times,my ankle 2,my arm been broken 2 times.

a couple of years ago i nearly tore off the last digit of my left middle finger. it didn't need surgery (miraculously) but for 2 or 3 weeks i couldn't even use that finger and i was on light duty for a month. good thing i'm right handed.

dang jason that is a lot of broken bones....no broken bones here but over 1,000 stitches...lol

I also almost had my bottom lip ripped off when I was real young.had 4 of my fingers on my right had broken.


I was just a really stupid when I was younger

geeze wonder how I forgot that I partially amputated my ring finger on my left hand. Take my advice don't pick up large patio stones without first inspecting for cracks.

I had 7 fractures after being hit by a softball on my right zygomatic bone. I now have a titaniun plate holding holding it together.

Just do me a favor if you do get a Nurse that is particularly good...Send a note to her Boss.

It's to make breathing better. I had the same surgery a few years ago. It would be my only one.

Well hubby is home...walking around on his new knee....scar is knary.....but it looks more like a knee then he has had in years.

I've had a few emergecy surgeries. None scheduled.

I got a few bullets and some shrapnel taken from my left arm and chest, and some left behind in my left hip, left buttock (yeah!), and right thigh. I took 6 rounds and they left 3 in once and took one more round another time to my left shoulder that was left in.

Just the 4th of this month I had a heart attack and got 2 stents put into my Right Coronary Artery through my femoral artery in my right leg (groin) and again the 7th I had 2 more put in (Lower Anterior descending artery) . Same spot, different hole. A bit sore there.

Feeling GREAT. But actually, I never really felt bad for any of it.

haha I was just thinking about how much more I must weigh with all this copper, lead, steel and now cobalt-chromium in me. Still don't set off metal detectors though.

Oops. Oh yeah, Also I got a shard of metal shot into my eye and had to walk into the clinic where they proceeded to tell me to BE VERY STILL AND DON'T BLINK..and actually used a drill in my eyeball to gain access, then a syringe to get the shard, then a DEBURRING TOOL to clean out the hole. That was a trip. Just held still with my chin in a cup for that one. You WILL be still when they put a high speed drill into your eye. lol

When I was a child I had tubes put in both my ears, and a hole in my ear drum repaired in my right ear. Remember not being able to sleep on the side because they practicly cut my whole ear off. Glad that they do not do it that way anymore.

I also had 4 c-sections and my tubes tied and a procedure more recently that I do not like talking about. So I guess that is what, eight?
