“Lost Within Time”
At times it seems I don’t even know. Where I want to be or even where to go. Have I lost all track of time and no longer can see? Where it was at one time I thought I wanted to be. Has time finally stood still and I got lost. And now after all was said and done here at last. I sit wondering did I let life pass me by. Through it all did I forget how to even try? Did I loose the grasp on reality that I had. I sat down writing these words on a writing pad. Thinking back to a time I thought I knew. What it was in life I wanted and now I have no clue. It seems life took a twist that I did not expect. Even though I seen it coming I did not project. How things would turn out and how I would cope. At times now I feel I have reached the end of my rope. Just waiting here and wondering how it will end. For no longer can I sit here and pretend. That life will always be. What we wanted to see. The road ahead may end up being rough. Deep down I know that I’m tough. And will do all that I can till I get where I want to be. Some day the future ahead will be there again for me to see. Great write Kristi-I can certainly relate. Just trying to enjoy life in the moment right now. Sometimes our visions become altered with the passing years....eventually we get where we wish to be.
