That would probably be a good thing for you then.

So how was your night with the migas?
Well... one of the "migas" was actually that girl I dated on Monday. And -needless to say- the date ended up being a total waste of time.
I left there about an two-hours after I got in. ![]() |

Was in the mood for breakfast foods
French toast and home made hashbrowns but I"m also baking for the hiking trip that I'm going on this weekend |

Wait. You two had a great time on Monday. What happened?

A couple of things. She claimed she was tired and wasn't all that willing to take part in conversation. Of course, that all changed when her pool-playing friends were around- then she started perking up and was chatting up like a chipmunk.
I sorta got the hint that I probably wasn't needed there when she left me at the bar to go talk to those pool-playing friends. And the wimmins out there complain why they can't find a "good man"... ![]() |

Well I will be the first to say that women s*ck!
I have discovered that lately. Disclaimer: I am not included in this at all But for the most part they do. They don't know how to be honest. All of the "nice" or "good" guys do their best to make everyone around them happy and all women can do is take it to their advantage. But I am through ranting now. It is just awful that there are some that have to be that way and it makes it tough for the other men. I guess it is vice a versa with men, however I don't hear it as often. Ok..now I am definitely done complaining. ![]() |

And to think (as I said last night) that this is the THIRD (probably even the fourth) time this kind of malarkey has happened to me, too- you'd think it were some kind of burgeoning trend or something.
![]() I look at it this way- the wimmins are incredibly fickle. One day, you're the best thing since sliced bread, and you're chopped liver the next. There's no loyalty, no civility, no respect, and no sense of courtesy with them. And to think that all that coulda happened was that she just come out and tell the truth in the first place- that I wasn't welcome there and that I should leave. I AM a big boy, you know? I can take the jabs as well as anyone else. ![]() And no- I'm NOT a "nice" guy. I'm a GOOD guy- I'm there for people if they need help. I don't go out of my way to be overtly vicious or vindictive (within reason, of course), and I don't harbor ill-will agains people (or at least I try to). But I WILL NOT tolerate gettin' jerked-around by anybody, especially the wimmins who ASK to meet ME somewhere. That's total bull-honkey of the highest magnitude. If nothing else, I've VERY recently instituted a "one-shot" system when it comes to dating nowadays- they get ONE shot... they mess up, and they're outta there. ![]() |

I will totally agree with you. There is no reason for someone to treat you as such, when they invited you!
But I would also like to add, just remember that not all women are like that. We truely aren't. Don't give up. I haven't ![]() And saying you were a nice guy was not what I was meaning at all. I meant a good one! ![]() |
I know. Not all women are like that. It would be rather presumptuous of me to think or believe otherwise. It's just that I keep attracting the screwy ones for some lame-o reason.
![]() As far as the "giving up" thing goes... meh. I can take it or leave it, personally. ![]() |

I totally agree with ya fire. I just have seen it so much lately with my friends, but then again all the guys I work with are men, being that I am in the construction industry. My ex was definitely no angel.
![]() Good for you moof! If I decide to move to L.A. with my daughter you are in trouble! ![]() |

![]() I'm not saying men aren't that way at all- I'm just saying that those tactics are getting rather old, as far as I'm concerned. Heck- there was even one point where I offered to leave if she wanted to spend time with her friends instead, to which she replied, "no... no everything's fine...", only to feign a yawn out of supposed "tiredness". It was a mere ten minutes after that when she perked up and said that she was gonna talk to her friends for a minute and left me at the bar. I mean... if I'm offering you an easy out, logic would dictate that you'd take it, right? What's the harm in saying, "yeah... sorry for wasting your evening... I'm gonna hang out with my friends..." right off the bat, right? ![]() |
