Every part of the country is known for some type of food they do better than the rest but the midwest to the southeast have most definitely got the BBQ down better than the rest ya. Who ever heard of California style BBQ?
So which style do you like best? Kansas City Style - with the hot and spicy BBQ sauce? or Memphis Style - with sweet and tangy sauce? or Georgia Style - with the mustard style sauce? I think it might be a tie between Georgia (maybe a slight lead here)and Memphis style IMO. Just depends on what kind of mood I'm in. |

The best BBQ i ever had was in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I couldnt tell you now what kind of sauce it had or anything about it, but it was way different to anything i have ever eaten in the UK.

I like a sweet bbq.... not into tomatoe based sauces or vinegar .
Preferably no sauce. Just dry rubbed, slow smoked pulled pork. Yummy! |

What about Texas style? We do it right and we do it spicy I dunno, never heard of it. Oklahoma might lightly ring a bell in my head as having their own style. If so, that's probably what you're eating in TX. |
