Great news!

But the question now is what are we going to do to stop these things from happening?

Authorize the crews of the ships to use weapons when threatened. Nothing says "I mean BUSINESS" more than a hand grenade tossed down at your little outboard, or a belt of .50 cal rounds fired across your bow.

I heard someone mention on a radio show (I wont mention any names) but the Idea ofsea marshalls was brought up like the same idea as our air marshalls.

For a ship the size of the Maersk, you'd need at least 20 of them. One, or even a few guys would just be silly. Multiple that by all the ships that size, and that'd be thousands of jobs.

Well we could use the jobs. I wouldnt mind doing it. Exept for the fact I was almost killed on a ship. ( the ocean isnt my favorite place).
