You want an example of a monopolistic intentions? You think corporations are creating monopolies?

You think corporations are actually able to create a monopoly without a government?

Watch this: Creating a seen, that will not reproduce. You want to grow crop? Pay every time. For every seed. Regular seeds will be made illegal.

i couldn't get the video to work, but that's dreadful. it's getting more and more unfair, and i wonder what it will do to our organic market? big business will make it illegal? and we're forced to eat that engineered crap they give us?
nature has a way with dealing with gov'ts and people. she'll make all seeds obsolete. or a .308 may change their minds, lol.

I don't understand the hullaballoo. Our foodstocks are so hybridized that their seed are ALREADY sterile

its been that way for fifty years already

buy a watermelon and try planting the seeds. they wont grow

that is why heirloom seeds are so valuable and sought after

It is outrageous. Beyond the seeds, the GMO crops are killing the soil. We are so single minded and short sighted. Greed is the commodity of the day. Organic diversity is where we've come from ... and where we need to return.

If some corporation could charge me for the air I breathe they would. Big business is already controlling the water and the food. It is a dangerous myth to think they have our best interests in mind.

An interesting documentary about water is called FLOW: For the Love of Water. I don't think I'll buy a bottle of water again.

Sadly, we don't really know what GMO foods are doing to our biochemistry either. Big business is playing Russian Roulette with our lives and it ticks me off. grumble

Yes, it has been the case in US for a while. I understand what is being done now, is to use the governments to force other countries to sign agreements with World Trade Trade Organization to make it illegal to possess organic seeds, that produce seeds.

While it is true, that there is always some big business behind things like this, their efforts would amount to nothing if there was no governmental and intergovernmental interventions into the markets.

Because we give governmental bodies such powers, these powers necessarily will be made to serve some narrow private interests.

Monsanto... Whats worse, they know categorically that those seeds with the Terminator gene can and will get out into the areas where cross polinization is unavoidable. What does Monsanto do about that? Not a d@mn thing. Check that, because whenever any of their other frankenfoods have messed up a unwilling farmers crops, Monsanto has sued them, charging patent infringement.
