Topic: Sharing Tonight | |
---|---|
As I read of thoughts tonight, Made me think, life is right. Words, someone else’s thoughts, Smiles exist where frowns wrought. Thoughts, how the world starved, Tears upon my face were carved. Shelter in this home I sleep, Thatched roofs walls seep. Bugs flying like a storm, Illness rampant in the morn. Blessed am I on this day, Thinking now life this way. Hunger not as I do, Money none, how ‘bout you. Read these words I write today, Many cannot read this way. Food, plenty from the sun, Count this blessing it is one. Now I sit here all alone, Time to stop, my little groan. Blessings many, in my life, Shelter now, little strife. Food, plenty friends are few, Life is special, sometimes blue. Feeling now a tear inside, Wondering how my fear can hide. Hidden by a smile so bright, Eyes Glowing in the night. Morning comes once again, Searching lights will begin. Getting ready for the bugs, Hidden deep beneath the rugs. Wasting not a single drop, Water flowing soon will stop. Feeling sated now my friend, Given now my words to lend. As I think of life today, Of these people far away. Now feeling many sorrows, Very few, many tomorrows. Tomorrow morn could be the day, To look at things a different way. As I dream of things that passed, Now I hope these dreams will last. Once awakened from a dream, Hear these thoughts as they scream. Louder now then before, Help the children evermore. Help them now do not wait, Help the children, share a plate. Help again for those who see, Help them live fancy free. Help them live within the light, Share a story in the night. Hold these words within your hands, Share a story across these Lands. |

Great words my friend, Warm and true... "We never know what tomorrow will bring, help others and help will come to you!" (that was a quote from my GrandMother...) |
