Why is it that people that are so rude and crude never get karma back at them? Because karma doesn't exist. It's an anthropocentric delusion designed to impose some sort of imaginary "balance" or "order" on something that is inherently and inextricably chaotic. |

Yeah. After my former roommate and long time good friend robbed and left me for some chick he just met, he moved down to our hometown in hopes she would divorce her husband and they could start a relationship. Well one day he decided he was getting tired of waiting and went to confront her in front of her husband. She decided to stay with her husband. My former roomie got all broken up about this and had also screwed up his relationship with all his/our other friends down there so now he had nowhere to go. Wound up homeless, broken hearted and all that good stuff.
Sorry but...BWAAAAAHHHHHAAAAAHAHAHAHA. AAAAAAAAHHHHHAHAHHAHAHAH! That's whatcha get, punk! |

It just puzzles me the way people feel this strange need to try to impose an order on something that is inherently unorderable -- stuff happens, in the normal course of events, and someone will jump up and say "Ah, karma!" when there appears to have been a payback -- while studiously ignoring the last 100 times when no such payback occurred. OK -- just seems a little silly to me -- the idea that "Things have to be this way because that's the way I want to believe them to be" -- it's the sort of delusion that keeps us from progressing as a species.... |
