Topic: Sex for Meat? | |

So Reuters had this interesting study in their oddly enough section.
Female chimps mate more w/ males that bring them meat. They seem to be hinting that there may be a link to why some men feel they ought to get sex from a woman after having taken her out for dinner. |

Put out or get out. Ass, grass or cash, no one rides for free |

Put out or get out. Hopefully you have a comfortable, well appointed cave. |

You are talking about mating behaviors and there are some very instinctual properties to the mating dance we do. More often then not humans use money instead of meat but that is just substitution. Chimps do not use money so food and a "hard to get" or "dangerous to get" food is more attractive than trying to give a female chimp than a bunch of leaves to eat hoping she will give up a little.
If a man spends money like any "transaction," a man expects some kind of return. I don't care how charitable anyone appears, somehow there is underlying self interest hiding in most actions. Most animals chose mates based on specific interests Germain to survival. Female horses in the wild only mate with the one male who is strong enough to not only keep the other males away but service them as well. Lions and tigers only the strongest most aggressive males win. Same with Gorillas. Bonobos and Humans are the only two exceptions to the "strongest male" rule. Some species of fly the female will not mate with a male if he does not do the mating dance precisely. Any deviation and she moves on. It is just a messed up game and the trick is finding the ones that take it seriously. Other than that it is all basic instinct somewhere... |

She said at least the chimps were bringing in good meat. And not like some guys who seem to think a woman should put out for McDonald's. |

That is the one thing I do promise any date I have ever taken out, I never EVER eat at McDonalds. Fast food is not very romantic in the first place but that is telling your date you are super cheap and a grease eating pig. It may explain homie's hanging gut ladies! Even Jack in the Box is a sin to me. At least Burger King is not eating total garbage. So from me top all of you ladies out there, If I am going out with you I will never take you to or get and try to "surprise" you with McDonalds. I might do Ralley Burger or In and Out but McDonalds? ABSOLUTELY NOT! There, I said it. Party on otherwise!!!! |

Males hunted, females gathered. When a male wanted a mate he would bring the female "gifts" from the hunt. Meat was a valuable commodity. It was a way of showing the female that the male is capable of providing food for their survival. Like saying "Hey, get with me and you will eat good everyday". |

Actually, it just goes to show that we may walk upright, have less hair (mostly), and wear clothes, use all sorts of technology, but we really haven't come all that far....... |
