I went to the pet store where I bought my parrot six years ago to return some food that I didn't use. I told the lady at the counter that I lost my parrot. She asked me what kind it was and said that someone had found that type of parrot in Humble. He brought it in the pet store to be checked and left his phone number in case someone came looking for a lost bird. The guy used to work at the pet store. The pet store I bought him at moved from my area several years ago to another place 20 miles from me.

Anyways I call the guy and he said he would call me after work. He never called. So I called him three times and nothing. I did a search of him online. Ran his phone number and got his last name...which led me to his address....a mile from my house in my neighborhood.

I went over there and a truck was in the driveway. I rang the doorbell and no one answered. I wait 30 minutes and go back and the truck is gone. So I went over to the neighbor's house to see if I had the right address. I did...also asked them who owned the red truck and it was his. I went home.

As soon as I get in the door his Mom calls me and tells me they are out of town and I will have to wait until Monday to discuss about getting my parrot. I said "Isn't your son home?" She said no he's not....HE WAS JUST THERE 30 minutes ago...liar..ugh!

If I go over there Monday and they give me problems. I am going to call the police.

I'd call the cops and have them there anyway. Something smells rotten in Denmark, and I've got a feeling that you're gonna be jerked around some more come Monday. The bottom line is that homeboy has YOUR pet and it needs to be returned to you.

Make sure when you see the police you have pictures of the parrot to prove it belongs to you. That way you can keep them from saying it is not your pet.I hate people who try to scam people especially when it involves pets.mad

Glad you found him. But lets hope he will give you your bird. He belongs to you not him. So he has no right keeping your bird!!

The truck is back in the driveway and another car as well.

If I take the police over there in the morning they probably will not answer the door.

old shrimp, octopus, or squid work well in an enclosed car on a warm day. limburger cheese smells great on the manifold, or heating vents.
