marrying young is the end of freedom or it's the start of a lifelong adventure for two ? Do you think the challenges faced by young married couples are bigger? |

Kids are STOOOOOOOOpid.
They have no idea what they want, or what they need. Around 22 or 24 they might start to figure one of those things out... but not both. Getting married under age 25 is making the marriage twice as hard in my opinion. |

Did the preacher say, I Charles DuvbfVckhorndog, take you Janie GoaheadfVckmyBFF, to be my first wedded wife, to have and to hold, as long as my buddies aren't around and if your juicy assed BFF comes around I'm tapping that azz....

Lilith, so you don't advocate rushing for marriage at that age ? even if the feelings are extremely strong. If they are that strong they can wait to get married. And get marriage counseling. It should be a requirement to get a marriage license. Oh, and finally, if you cheat on someone, DON'T get married as a result. DON'T. It should be ILLEGAL. Second marriages that start in infidelity have this ridiculous success rate, like 6% or something. Abuot the same as sobriety from methamphetamines. |

I think marriage is challenging no matter what age you are.If you marry young you need to make sure your with someone that will grow and change with you so that you do not grow apart.If you marry when you are older you need to be with someone who completely accepts you as you are ,and does not want you to be something you are not.It takes effort from both people to make it work and to not take eachother for granted

I got married at 19 and he was 26. I would have gotten to know more about him and his habit if I could change anything. However, he was the love of my life and I wouldn't have changed that and the children that we have together. We struggled at such a young age financially but we had so much love for each other. By the way his birthday is April 9th and he would have been 47 this year. I miss him sooooo much.
