Hey all -

I'm looking for some serious profile advice. I don't want to come off as eccentric, but I really don't want to look dull..


Do y'all have any general profile tips that would get me a bit more interest? Along the same lines, what do you all do for your messages? I've sent a few and they've even been read, but the women haven't even looked at my profile! Clearly I'm just not hooking any attention with them :(

I like the informative part of your profile, but your default pic is too dark. Maybe its my computer, but I can't see you very well... And maybe a few more pics of you, as well. :)

I added a few new pics.. I know a couple of them are still dark, but I found a lighter one! Thank you for letting me know

personally i feel listing what your looking for in a numbers style list is kinda like a informal "you must have" list which maybe puts people off a bit if they dont have one of your "requirements". which in turn is cutting out alot of people

Add a little more about you, your interests, and maybe what you would like to do on a date.

I think the description of the type of girl that interests you is awesome! Never settle for someone less than your standards!

I agree with what someone else said about your main pic -- and the similar set -- being too dark. Can you lighten them with either Photobucket or another program like Irfan? The one you are using as a main is not ideal. Remember, you have to catch their attention first then they will read the information! Personally, I never open a profile if I can't see a GOOD image of the person's face.

I'm torn on the list thing.. I don't feel like I'm being picky and singling in on a particular woman. I feel like the list is pretty general and that most people would fit them. They're the kinds of things that are important and possibly even deal breakers. It's not like I am listing physical features.


The pictures are over a year old, and I've since grown a full goatee.. I'll post an image or two shortly and y'all can tell me whether I should keep it or not :-D
