Staycation....
A staycation is a neologism in vogue, where a person or family stays home instead of taking expensive and stressful vacations to exotic locations. It is a new travel word and is very popular what with today's recession and high prices. would you try this holiday ?

I don't really want to take a vacation to stay at home. There are ways to travel cheaply, so that's what I'll go with.

Which means I stay home and look around and end up cleaning the whole time. My place looks great, but I'm not rested at all!! |

no way... I love to get away from this city and take my family with me. We don't fight or not enjoy each others company so there isn't any stress in our vacations.

No, I mean when you go through everything, sweep the basement and wash the toys and lawn stuff outside, take out all the extra sheets and rewash those again... reorganize the spices and iron everything you own. I don't mean just cleaning. I mean CLEANING.

Last vacation? went to Myrtle Beach for a week. I shared costs with someone Had a great time I did the driving 12 hours one way... will I do it again? maybe not this year.. But every so often I have to get to the ocean, its in my blood so hang the costs.

I called that a Cleancation.... Which means I stay home and look around and end up cleaning the whole time. My place looks great, but I'm not rested at all!! What I will be doing for the Next week. With having no money and being forced to take the week off without pay. I don't have much else to do. I can say that by the time I am done my house will be SPOTLESS. And everything will be re-arranged. |
