Agreed, the books are amazing and the movie is mediocre. I really hope New Moon is better. I had the chance to meet the director while they were filming here in Portland and the Gorge which was cool. I'm excited to see at least how they are going to do the whole wolf morphing if nothing else |

I like the directors other movies but she was not the right choice for directing Twilight. Sadly the movie is much more low budget than it should have been. In some ways I think they nailed it for the target audiance of young teens but it really annoys me that the writer strayed from the real story so much.

I DID see the previews to that movie, you know...
Looked like nothing more than a bunch of high-school drama ingénues getting all first-date-awkwardy on a bunch of pale-faced Ryan Seacrest types trying to look all vampire scary-but-sexy. They shoulda released the movie as a comedy, as I was laughing my keester off.
