I cannot measure.. I just do. If there is expectation of a return, it is pretty much not being done from the heart. I think that if I am able to please my significant other, in all ways, my pleasure from doing so is reward enough. Of course the person I bestow my affection and gestures on will be deserving of such, and the natural give and take of a relationship will balance everything out in the long term. No need to keep score.
