The ones that are thought-provoking, and have some content and substance....the ones that ask questions that make you think about how you would answer them....

It isn't really about the number of words in a post -- it's about the message....in those instances where there actually IS one....

"I'm Bored" and "Hi" and "Would You Rub Expensive Sandpaper On The Big Toe Of The Person Above You" threads don't do anything for me....

The short ones or the one-liners...I tend to skip over the 9 paragraph diatribes...it's way, way, too, too much! laugh If I want to read a novel...I'll pick up Moby D!ck...

Depends on the topics. It also depends on who wrote them.

Im very lazy(and busy), if a post is too long i normally ignore it, unless it is something i am particularly interested in or a conversation i am participating in.

My replies are mostly one liners.

Perfect, Lex! drinker

I also find the longer replies more appealing.

I'm in the minority, however, because if I write anything of length or complexity, it's normally skipped. sad2

I can do those if I have to -- but this really isn't the right venue for that sort of thing....

I get called "intimidating" here for using proper spelling and a few three-syllable words....

If I go into a topic and the opening is tooooooooo loooooooong, then for the most part it will not be for me. I like quick wit and no drama. Long drawn out topics are boring. For that I can listen to Dr. Phillaugh laugh laugh

I guess if I'm going to take the time to read a post, or an entire thread, I would appreciate finding something worth reading.

That works better some days than others.

Yeah, I'd rather read something with a little substance rather than the complete nonsense threads.

I like shameless, needy cries for pity of something trivial in the grander scheme of things
