HI
First, change your main pic! You look so unfriendly and unapproachable. Who wants to date someone with his arms crossed that looks 'mean'? It's not too bad but spice it up! What type of girl are you interested in meeting? What are your educational or travel goals? You can't be this boring! I would omit the part about being a single dad. Don't wear the 'parent trap' chip on your shoulder. If you check the box that you have a kid then that is enough. Kids shouldn't even be brought into the picture until you are serious about someone. TMI! Take out the last sentence "just ask ...". That is stale, lazy, not creative and ambiguous. Why should she have to ask? This is YOUR profile! Market yourself! Would you date YOU? Try to view this from the other person's POV. Have a great time! |

I'm not saying it's TRUE... I'm saying the impressions you give off by what you wrote is not just mine alone....
I'm not an island. |

Women don't need a man to feel protected; this is not 1950, and the pic looks like you are the type of idiot that would get into a lot of fights -- or that you are hard-headed or closed off (in terms of discussions). Body language ..... it's an artform! |
