Fear

Can you see?
That man about to buy tea?
Every second he takes a glance,
And if you look, you can see there, in his pocket on his pants.
Is that a knife?
A blade, a razor? Ready to take a life?
He’s afraid of something,
But it could be nothing.
Just an imagination on overload,
The answer is simple, yet old.
Fear,
It can hit with something as small as a leer.
Look, over there,
A woman walking, without a care.
But look closer,
She’s just a poser.
See her purse?
Inside, for harassing men, is a curse.
She holds a gun, ready to fire,
If she’s attacked, the need will be dire.
No matter what you do or where you go,
Fear is everywhere, so…
Are you easy to scare?
Fear… it’s everywhere.
