Psalms 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Psalms 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. |

And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil.
For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God. John 3:19-21 |

Whoa whoa whoa...Everyone needs to take a chill pill.
Worship or don't worship as you please. I will not think any less of you because you are of a different religion or no religion at all. I posted something that I hear in church and happen to find inspiring. You do not have to buy into it. My second post, the quote from John's gospel, was brought to mind by another post mentioning light. Interpret John's gospel as you will. I made no comment as to what I think it means. I merely put it out there as something to contemplate. I happen to believe there is a God. You may think otherwise. And quite frankly, I'd rather see a world full of people who act as Jesus taught but don't believe, than a world full of those who say they believe but who's actions are contrary. For those of you who didn't bother to look it up, here's Heartsong's verse: If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18 Enough said. |

Romans 12:18 ROMANS 2:11-16 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 (For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. |
