We get up each morning to start the new day
As I look up and see your face I stare I do not know what to say
Down the stairs into the kitchen again we do meet
Together we share a meal what a treat
Outside and through the gate we go as we take our daily walk, how neat
At home we sit and watch your favoite TV show, why I do I will never know
You are my best friend and in many ways I know our friendship it will
