so we got into the car
we drove into the rain
so dark, the black night

we pulled of to the side
of that lonely country road
i kissed her so hard

we were kids again
the rain a rhythm on the roof
music to our ears

i truned off the car
the cold tried moving in
but we made our own heat

later driving home
a disheveled little grin
