A hammer to the big toe should do it.

You could or may want to try this .. http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.V27801.desc.Backjoy-Portable-Supportive-Back-Orthotic

It's supposed to help with posture and all. I wouldn't mind getting one or more when I have some extra money or just when I have even more money for that matter lol.

I have been told I need to work on my posture, however I find it some what tough to do, not sure why just get used to sitting one way and all.
thanks but I am sure that cost way too much for me to afford

About $43 bucks give or take a few pennys or so, plus tax I think. I added the shipping and all.
what is it like a machine that helps with your posture?

No it's not a machine at all. It's a Backjoy Portable Supportive Back Orthotic. You know how people might wear orthotic's in there shoes to help with pain from standing or walking etc ? well this would be the same thing only differences is it helps with sitting up the right way.

Plus you can take it any where, in the car, at the office etc.

As a former masseur, I'd suggest a few things.

1. Flip your mattress at least once a month. Say you always sleep in the same place on the bed, like I do. Make the spot where your head rests go to the foot of the bed when you flip it over.

2. Use no more than 2 pillows, and throw them out when they are 2 years old, cuz they're no good anymore. If you have to fluff them, or fold them over to feel comfortable, they're used up.

3. Go to a masseuse or masseur. Get any tension out of your shoulders, and upper neck. Step away from the pc at least once an hour for at least 5 minutes. Walk outside, do neck rotations, get the blood flowing again.

4. If there is still pain the day after a massage, go to a Naprapath. They have wickedly simple ways to reallign your spine. It can be a bit expensive, but... Is the pain worth the hundred bucks?

Take something for the pain of you must and then rest as often as you canin the contour position. Lie on the floor and put your legs up on a chair, the couch, bed whatever- so that your upper and lower legs form an "L". Relax. This takes all the strain off of the lower back area.

I discovered this by accident when struggling to find any position that was comfortable. Then later on, when researching for an answer, found that this is a common treatment. It worked for me. The longer I could stay in that contour position, the better I felt when I got up.

Good Luck.

I used to have my exes walk on my back. Nothing but "POP POP POP", and the pain was gone.

I injured my back when I was 15, and ended up having to spend the entire summer in a back brace. The only way I could sleep for the first month or so was to lay a couple blankets on the floor next to the bed, and kneel on them, and lay my top half on the bed like I was praying.

I still do it once in a while now when my back hurts.

um they have these things called duragesic pain patches...that are called lubriderm or something like that...they are 5%. and how it works is you pull the casing off the patch, and stick it9 the gooey part) where it hurts...and the patch works for 10 hours or so...
it is not morphine or anything like that...
bigsmile i had a stiff lower back, and it cured that...athritis....if u can't bend over that is what it sounds like.

do ice for 20 minutes... nothing for 20 minutes.... heat for 20 minutes and keep alternating... ice takes down the swelling..swelling is what causes the pain. Heat promotes blood flow which promotes healing...
