Well Rick she is only a plane ride and a thousand dollars away. sixteen hours on a plane and $1500.00 AWAY Well I was close .I said a thousand. But the point is she isn't gone forever, she will be back. Maybe I didn't say that right. She will be fine , and back safe and sound , I know its rough really rough.My gosh when my daughter went to India I was a basket case! But she came back fine and had a great time. So will your daughter. Don't worry. Yeah I would be more afraid of india

how is Rick tonight? OK, Still recovering from daughter's request to spend her junior year in Tokyo at Toyo University That was a really tough one!! I admire you for being able to do it .I feel for you! She got me on a good day? I did some soul searching, and listened to a few close friends, I needed to let go, of course I will still be always wondering, but with Skype, and a good schedule for contact, should make things easier, as I will be able to see her reactions while talking to her. Hang in there. I know how it feels. My daughter studied in Italy for a semester. Even though I don't get to see her often, it felt like an eternity, ans she wasn't very good at keeping in touch. Her being away actually brought us closer now that she's back.
