I've always liked the look of mixing old with new... like an old, old church with peaks and steeples and ornate iron work.. Yet make the inside a sleek modern open space

the atomium

Beautiful structure! I had the pleasure of going inside. It also has the worlds fastest elevator.

Here is a pic I took outside the Atomium.

This should give you an idea of it's size.

Not the best picture (it was taken from inside a tour bus...haha).

I saw a house that looked like a spaceship that had crashed into the side of a mountain top. It jutted out over 200 feet, and overlooked valleys and other mountains. The windows being washed were the owners bigest problem. But in this dream, money is no object.

I also think that living in a "dry" cave would be pretty cool...of course, I'd have to build a huge, glass sun-room at the entrance just in case claustrophobia drove me "batty"...

An old Victorian home out in the middle of a few hundred acres somewhere in the southern US.

I would just like to find an older house that has history to it, with a wrap around porch located near water I would keep it as original as possible only adding a few of my own updated touches...

One built with hay bales. Finished with Adobe, painted with pastel aquas, pinks, green and violet.
Solar and wind powered
The front door facing the East, to greet the sun each morning, a South facing atrium to grow things year round.
A huge open loft up stairs.

I've heard of these homes...they're inexpensive, energy efficient, & fire-proof...I like the color palet you've chosen...they blend in very well in the desert...

I would love to build a George of the Jungle tree house. It must have coconut telephones.
