I 'm from madrid, spain and I just want to say to the people who live in NY that they live in an amazing place and in the most beautiful city in the world, i really envy you!. In this city I spend the best month of my life the last year, i lived many new experiences and i meet people i won't forget never... is the city where i'm gonna live in a future for sure...
I cant wait for the summer to comming back!

Blizz is right. Living in new york and visiting new york is completely different. I'm looking for work anywhere BUT new york lol. I want to get out of here so bad. Every other state and country i've been to, I just loved about a million times more. The people were nicer, the girls were nicer. IDK, I think all the nice ones moved away ;).

I got to say.. I love New York!

Cost of living is a bit more.. but the salaries more then compensate for it. As far as work goes.. In my trade Ive got to be in a place like New York, Washington DC Metro Area or Seattle Washington.

Now if I wanted to retie and stay in America.. I'd probably choose Virginia or Pennsylvania (Poconos). Having lived all over the world I can say there's definitely some nice places out there.. But draw me back. the food, convenience and the people are great.

As far as woman.. In America it seems you need to be in a place where people make money and take care of themselves. It seems that once you go out into the country and get away from the big metro areas the woman grow as big as cows and people just let themselves fall apart.

Long Island isn't exactly NYC, but I'm on the Queens border and I've worked in and around Manhattan. I must say I hate it. It's nice for about.. 3 hours. then it sucks.

I moved upstate for a while.. and let me just say.. Orange County, NY? Best place in the world. Close enough to the city for a visit, far enough away to be cheap(er), and much better people.

I've lived on Long Island for over 30 years now.
Yes it is expensive, but it is just a train ride into Penn. There is no other place like it in the world!!!!

I live in CT, I find the New Yorkers to be more friendly and open. Worked up in the city numerous times and my grandma lived there for 40 years.
