Yes dal-I will admit that it takes time. But how does anyone know
anything about you from only 70 posts?
A profile is static. The dynamics of relationships occur continuously
here in the posts.

Dale -- I have to tell you, the thing that did it for me was just
posting on the forums a lot. I get e-mails all the time here, and I'm
not even really officially looking for anybody. (Of course, maybe
people figure I'm less of a "threat" that way, I don't know.)

The thing is -- you have to get known, you have to put yourself out
there. I've seen a few of your posts, but I don't really feel like I
know much of anything about you -- I don't have a handle on who you are,
etc., which I think only comes through by posting your thoughts and
ideas and impressions.

The more you show who you are, the more likely someone will pick up on
that. You can only fit so much information in a profile -- but the
forums are more ongoing, more immediate, not exactly "real-time" but at
least as close as you can get without resorting to a chatroom or IM or a
webcam setup.

I really don't think 66 posts is enough to make a conclusion about
anything yet, not on your part evaluating the site, nor on the part of
the site members having a chance to get to know you.

Just my opinion.
