Just found out they are cutting salaries of all the State employees for the State of Delaware today starting with the new fiscal year. 8% people who have been working for the State for 30 years have not seen pay increases in the amount of 8% since they started. These people will go backwards making less than when they first started. We don't get paid all that much to begin with. Most of us scrape by, more people will be losing there home, etc.

I work my AS$ off putting through files and bailing out other sites under this crunch. I put in longer hours I don't even claim to see others Food Benefits go through as fast as I can get them through. Now I am working putting more hours for free and getting paid less for working my ass off and I won't even be able to pay the bills I have.

They are increasing the amounts we pay for health and cutting the pay for teacher, police, social workers, etc. that are dedicated to the people of this freaking state. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Dang I'm sorry to hear that they are doing that! It just seems to be getting worse not better, especially for those of us that do bust our a$$ working hard!

Thank you, everybody, but I think its time for pickets and raising our voices. Why should people that sit on the butts at home get paid while the rest of us work our asses off. Why should congressmen/women get paid for going on vacation?? When lower government workers would get fired for not doing there jobs?? Just another example of Socialism over Capitalism and look at what it brings our country to....higher unemployment rates....higher FB....and medical paid by us the workers. Ridiculous the more I work there the more I see it. You unemployed people are unemployed because of it.

The problem is he is creating more debt to an eventual bigger crash to do it. Its a temporary fix, but I don't see him, Congress or the house taking pay cuts.

More to the point why should they pat each other on their backs on bonuses based on our taxes (yet to be paid in future) while we are slugging it out?

As far as I knew Teachers never really got paid that well.

I'm sure things will turn around and work them self's out, but as the President had said things will get worse before they get better, just remember he is trying to clean up Bush's Mistakes and failed poiclys and all that he has left behind. However these things take time.

Every body has a hard time right now so your not a lone.

It's too bad your working your butt off and now things seem to be back firing for you and your pay is getting cut etc.

No he's not he hurtling us into it and its the Clintons that passed the bill to ease the regulations on loans because they thought everybody should have a house it all sounds good but its not. The only real people getting screwed here is the little guy and woman, really the little business man and woman, have always been getting screwed for years on in etc, which is noting new.

Every body trying to fix or change something and it's not always working and every body thinks they have the answers when it doesn't always come out the way they might would like it to.

Yeah right he own the government because there aren't any checks and balance like there used to be we need and even number of both in the Senate and House to balance it out to keep it in check. He has no opposition at all. It is a complete breakdown of government period.
