I started reading Twilight not that long ago. I am reading it in the evening when I have the time. I am about half way through. So, New Moon is the next book in the series? Yes. There are 4 books out now in the Twilight Saga. You'll want to read them in order. ~Twilight ~New moon ~Eclipse ~Breaking Dawn Thanks! You're very welcome! The last 2 are the best of the series IMHO! |

Movie was OK, books were excellent. Without reading the books first I probably wouldn't have liked the movie much at all though.

Although, I'm not sure who all has committed to making an appearance just yet. I hope to know soon though! TwiCon 2009 is the first unofficial conference/convention for Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight saga and takes place from July 30-August 2, 2009. It takes place at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel in Dallas, TX (address below). Event Features: ~Volturi Masque Ball ~Live Twilight inspired band performances ~Twilight movie screening ~Meet & Greet of the Twilight cast ~Vendor Hall for shopping ~Artists’ Alley (for you to display fan made art and goods) ~Dozens of breakout sessions, panels, workshops and more It will be quite the event for all Twilight fans who attend! It's reccommended that you stay at the hotel if you're planning to attend (but not required!) so you can stay close to the action of events. Rooms, however, are booking up fast for this premiere convention. ___________________________________________________________________ Sheraton Dallas Hotel 400 North Olive Street Dallas, TX 75201 (214) 922-8000 www.Sheraton.com/DallasHotel |

Star wise, Alice will be there, Charlie, Mike, and Angela I belive ( the one who first makes friends with Bella). I dont know if Robert or Kristen will be there, I do know that Robert is dating the one who plays Rosalie ( how ironic is that, since Rosalie doesn't like Bella at first)

When I was at the store the other day, I made sure to buy New Moon. I still have about half of Twilight to read. I think I am going to try to get some more reading done tonight!

If so, which one? |

I am so far from Dallas.... I know what you mean! I am too.But I wouldn't mind taking a roadtrip for that either! Of course,I hear that a group of Twilight fans are starting to organize a trip to Forks, Washington and LaPush Beach for next summer.(Around June 2010). Now THAT would be something I would love to do! They have reconstructed houses resembling Bella's and Edward's and take people on tours of them along with the school, the local police station and other things in the area. Ya know, with Forks being just a small timber town they have really grown since Stephenie wrote the books. Supposedly they get over 100 new tourist PER DAY!!! They even have put in new bed & breakfasts. And all the local shops and restaurants have novalties to buy; signs in the windows saying things like "Vampires welcome here," "We love Edward & Bella" and different things like that to draw in more business. It's become a total Twilight town! |

I just finished Twilight last night and started into the first few pages of new moon.
My thoughts on the movie vs the book. I saw the movie first. I think that the Bella in the movie didn't translate very well from the book. I find Bella more 'cold' in movie and more 'girlish' in the book. I think that besides the 'hollywood' liberties and condensing the movie pretty much told the story in the book. Oh and whoever spilled the beans in 3rd book, gee thanks! |

Read all 4 books, eagerly awaitin the next movie an next book

And now that you have finished Twilight, did you notice how they took out some of the humor from the book when they made the movie? Especially with Edward. Yes, he is a very serious and brooding vampire, but he does have a sence of humor in the books too. One of my favorite lines he said in the book, they took out of the movie. It was when they went to prom, but Bella didn't know they were going and when she fessed up to Edward about the fact that she thought he had dressed her up because he changed his mind about turning her into a vampire too, he made a witty comment like "And you thought that would be a black tie affair, did you?" I don't know, it just seemed like the movie was a little dry in contrast to the book. What did you think? AND *points to Keith* He spilled the beans!!! hahaha |
