I am low maintance. I wear a small amount of make-up everyday. I get my eyebrows waxed about once a month or so.

I am just wondering about the gals, that look like they stepped out of a fashion mag everyday, do you get tired of all that? Trying to be perfect all the time?

Out of mere curiousity, how much do you spend on clothes? make-up? etc

It takes me but a few mins to put makeup on .. less is better

but .. I do get my nails done every 3 weeks - I do pedicures myself unless it's really really important

I also DO pay to have my hair done .. she does a fantastic job so I'm not takin chances on my own .. lol

Pretty low maintenance myself... although I do my full make-up everyday , foundation, eyliner, mascara, blush, and lip gloss.I work in a very professional setting and have to keep up my appearance.However ,on my days off I usually just do mascara and lip gloss.

I don't consider myself high maintenance. I pay for everything myself. I tan and wear makeup. I do like to shop and I have a huge huge huge shoe addiction. However, like I said, I pay for everything that I have.

I pluck my eyebrows, it's free and the pain is not so bad (IMO).

I ask for make-up for Christmas and my birthday, I wear that minerals stuff that is pricey but lasts forever....
So I buy lip gloss and mascara, but the rest is gifts. I also ask for gift certificates for clothing, and get maybe four new outfits a year. If I buy extra, it's t-s and shorts and jeans and stuff. I can honetly say I do not, under any stretch of the imagination, pay more than $500 on clothes and make-up for myself per year.

I loathe shopping....

I am pretty vain about my hair. I get it cut every five weeks and pay $25, but I use OTC hair products. I don't get my nails done, I don't buy designer clothes, and I'm not fussy....

I'm on a very limited budget, I rarely buy anything new. I get some new clothes at Christmas as gifts. Most of my clothes come from garage sales and second-hand shops. I might buy a couple of new pair of jeans each year and a new pair of sneakers, and a some sandals or flip-flops for summer. I work at home so I don't have to have two wardrobes, and rarely wear make-up, only on special occasions. I buy OTC products for everything at the Dollar Store. Cut and color my own hair and do my own nails.

Completely low maintenance. Little to no make up. Old Levi's and a t-shirt. No shoes whenever possible. No mani/pedi's unless my "girl" friends make me. Love to tie the hair in a knot and roll. What you see is what you get.

Nope. When I wear make up it is for me because it gives me a boost it isn't for anyone else. I have manicures and pedicures because I work hard and feel I deserve to indulge myself. But this is only part of me. The other part runs around in a clean face (no make up) bare feet and cut offs. Am I high maintenance? I don't think so. I only have one body so I try to take care of it.

So far i got 5 pair of shoes for every woman that posted in this thread

I am low maintenance. I usually spend an hour in the morning getting ready between showering, dressing and eating breakfast.
Maybe 5 min for makeup. Just use Bare Minerals blush and I am out the door.
If I am going somewhere special, that is a totally different story. It takes a lot longer.
