No real need here. When I had one, I hated it. Had those hard wires running through. I'm like the princess and the pea that way!!! And, having cats with claws..... scary!!!

Yes I do with a timer so it will shut off after about an hour.
But I have to manually turn it on.

Have an electric mattress warmer
It starts off the warmest at the feet and cools down as it gets closer to the head, and is on a timer so it turns itself off brrrr it gets cold here!!! |

I have a down comforter that is purrrfect. I like the weight more than the heat.
I tend to kick out one leg to feel the crisp night but cozy under the 'bankies' with the rest of my body.

No way.. New roof , new windows, had insulation blown in the walls, tight as drum here. Now my old apartment yes I had an electric blanket & a coleman sleeping bag good for 40 below.
