Long time vs stranger
Long time: pro's & con's + You know their personality, personality, behavior patterns, and have history - Knowing alot about them takes the fun out of the guesswork, you may tend to overlook certain flaws because their history with you, in which you may tollerate more "mistakes" than a fresh start New: pros & cons + Everything is new, exciting, the relationship seems to grow after more is revealed about oneself - You do not know the person's pervious experiences, behavior patterns, family, and dependabilty (Yada yada...do I talk too much?) |

Nah Katie, keep going. LOL
totally makes sense to me but why do u think excitement cant be
there? because in all honesty it is new ..new to think of this person in these manners? |
or perhaps age difference? when u get older the age difference is
different... |

All I know Deb is that I cannot WAIT until Tommy and I finally meet this
summer.......Hopefully within the next month or so. It is so anticipated, it's crazy. Even though we're meeting much sooner than Chris and Katie did, (Since they took the time to get to know each other), it's still exciting.......I like him a lot and I think he feels the same way. So meeting someone new is something I like doing ever so often. And I just happen to think this may be a good thing. |

you leave me for a man * cries pathetically*

Oh wait......I almost forgot.........When I meet Tiff and everything, it
will be truly amazing.....I mean, she IS my mistress.........So we'll have to meet at some point. |
I fall in love with everyone at some point, as long as we are not
related or if they are evil. |
whew.. glad i was remebered
Of course you weren't forgotten....Hell, if you come up at the same time
as Tommy, we can have one hell of a good time. |
i'd love to fall in ,,,,that's alllllllllllll i'm sayin'
yes i think u can buttons, after all u should start off bein friends
anyways, then see where it goes.. |
Buttons, you brought up a good topic. Why would it be more exciting
new...rather than someone you've known. I believe that majority finds "new" interests more exciting. If you've known someone for a long time and the butterflies are still there and you still feel the excitement....I think its time to go shopping for a set of rings. |

I would say someone brand spankin' new . Or I would have fallen in love
with the one I've known for a long time when he was brand spankin' new... Do you get what I've tried to say? |

I'm gonna tell you, I never believed in love at first sight. And it
wasn't exactly that, but by the 2nd day, I knew I was in love with this one. He's just too sweet not to love. Course we had been talking for a while, and knew each other better than most on a first date. My ex and I had been buddies for years before we got together, I was married at the time, he was my best friend and became more. And that didn't work out, cause he changed into someone I didn't even know. And I stopped being the little doormat that I had been, I think that's what killed it actually. So it can go either way. The real key to whether a relationship will work or not is honest communication. You can't know if you love someone unless they will talk and be themselves with you, and vice versa. |
