Winter Poem
IT'S WINTER IN NORTH DAKOTA And the gentle breezes blow Seventy miles an hour At 35 degrees below OH, HOW I LOVE NORTH DAKOTA When the snow's up to your butt You take a breath of winter And your nose gets frozen shut. YES, THE WEATHER HERE IS WONDERFUL So I guess I'll hang around I could never leave North Dakota I'M FROZEN TO THE GROUND!!! (from a Dakota friend) |

A gentle zephyr of air @ 70 mph,yes I know the feeling well although not normally a cold wind. I don't recall ever seeing snow more than six inches deep, other than in a crevase. I'm sure North Dakota is beautiful in spring/summer, winter not so much.
