Inspite of having potential 'luck' plays an important role in life.
I partially agree to this because luck has it's way but we cannot say that it is the supreme.
even though by chance if a guy with potential fails in his interview ,one thing should be remembered that it is with the
same potential he has reached upto that interview stage ....but not merely by luck....
and some times every thing might be going against but ultimately it is the true knowledge and hard work which would keeps us surviving most of the time.

You tend to make your own 'luck'. In most cases luck is the convergence of 'preparedness' and 'opportunity'. You can minimially influence the 'opportunity' but you can greatly control the 'preparedness'. If you are prepared when opportunity arrives, you are able to seize the opportunity. Certainly there is some luck involved. But everyone has that luck. Not everyone is prepared to meet it.

But in regards to true 'luck'... the pure chance kind of luck.... I, for some reason have lots of that. I win things all the time. In the last year I've won a steel belted cooler, a refrigerator, and a patio umbrella.
