My financial situation has been pretty grim for awhile and I seem to
have fallen in a very deep hole. It seems to be getting
deeper and deeper all the time.
Recently learned of chance to possibly move else where.
Job situation seems to be better and housing seems to be less
exspensive.
I am about to lose home living in now. Can't seem to find employment
here anywhere. Money has all but run out.
I have lived in Mi all my life born and raised here.I have a
chance to move to Ok. A chance to start over more or less...
It's kind of scarey-yet tempting. The only bad thing is that I
would be leaving 3 of my adult kids here, and only 1 would be going with
me. I have never been that far away from my kids before.
Yet I really need a change. I have to do something-because I'm drowning
in the current place I'm in. And NO I am not running from anything...
Could use some opinion's on this...

I am also moving from Washington this summer. But I don't know where to
yet. I have narrowed it down to AZ, CA, or NV. The living is cheaper in
two out of the three places I have chosen. It is scarry to leave
everything you have been comfortable with. I love traveling and finding
new adventure. I say you should go for it.

If I were you. I would take the move. It will be hard, but for a chance
at a better life isn't it worth it? Plus there is always the phone and
e-mail.

Would you rather be comfortable and far away? or Homeless and close?

You mention they were adult kids. Can't they help you so you don't end
up on the streets? I didn't ask that in a mean way. If they can't help
you , now that they are grown ups, make the move. Think about yourself
and your youngest one. Best of luck to you .

I know your not being mean.
My kids help out alot (more than I want them to at times).
They are struggeling too,and I don't want to burden them.
My 1 that would go with me-is my oldest who is disabled.
I have been really close with my kid's.They live in apartments
and most of these places don't have room or have regulations
against having people stay with them. (and no pets).

If your kids are adults they can take care of themselves so you dont
need to worry about them.

Moving provides options. If there is a job for you there then it is
probably worth while. I would not move unless the job was offered and
somewhat secure.
