my daughter is highly allergic to the incense...it will ruin her contacts and she starts choking like crazy...that is why I always burn candles. I even have my daughters buring them all of the time now. Especially when they clean the house. We burn candles everyday.

I usually like my place smelling like an old hippie head shop...incense, candles, herbs & spices... But I too, used to live with somebody who was allergic...then you just gotta get creative...
