someone who had musical tastes that were the polar opposite of yours? Since I have a fairly wide taste in music, such a thing wouldn't be a problem for me... unless said person had some truly awful taste in music, like if the person liked listening to Britney Spears or Polka. |

I don't think it would be a prob:)
just as long as the culture or habits that are associated with that type of music aren't being forced on me by that person i totally cool with it. |

Hummmmmmmmmmmm I don't see that music should ever be the only factor that one would use to not be with someone believe me there would have to be much more behind the issue for me to pass them up.

someone who had musical tastes that were the polar opposite of yours? Like a variety of music. Though Rap does nothing for me. So long as they don't force me to listen to it all the time would not be a problem. |

Is "music" really that important in a relationship? I don't really know for sure, but I have heard the expression, "We could make beautiful music together." Figuratively speaking, of course. I think that expression may have some undertones that have nothing to do with music. |

No. Considering my diverse tastes that would have to be a chick that just hates music. Couldn't date someone that hates music.
