All vaccines are important for all pets. Please don't be cheap and get your cat the damn shot.

Is your cat fixed?

My cats are indoor and fixed, and the only vaccine I give them now is the rabies one, because it's a law in my state.

I just know distemper seems to be more of an issue in non spayed or neutered cats, but if your vet recommended it... do it.

Vaccines are always important. If your vet has told you the cat needs it, there's a good reason.

My cat is strictly indoors. She got some shots a looooong time ago. Those are the only ones she's ever had. No vaccination updates or anything. And she seems perfectly happy and healthy. I just don't see the point in getting vaccines for all these diseases she's not going to come in contact with. Hell, I don't even have to treat her for fleas.
